Hummingbird Villagers

In a small village in Cambodia, women are making soap and creating a future where they can earn their own income.
We call the people in this village "Hachidori Villagers."

Hummingbird Tales

When the forest was on fire, a tiny hummingbird carried water, one drop at a time.
Even when told, "That's useless," the hummingbird replied:

"I am doing all that I can do."

Even small efforts can bring about big changes when combined.
With this sentiment, we named this initiative "The Hummingbird Project."

About Our Activities

In rural areas of Cambodia, there are regions where it is difficult for women to find stable employment.
The Hachidori Project supports women in creating jobs and achieving independence through soap making using local materials.

We also provide educational support for children in the villages.
